Huskies love
children!

the Pack from the sidelines!
Hey! That's a funny looking Husky! Peewee, above,
is a mixed-breed, part sheltie, part who-knows-what.
At any rate, she was here when the Huskies started
arriving, and immediately, her herding instincts kicked
in. She herds them to their kennels at night, then
parks herself in front of Angel's and Scarlett's kennel
as the guard dog. If anything that she feels does not
belong there gets too close, she chases it off and will
bark to let everyone know! This includes Prancer, the
alpha dog. His place is on the back porch at night,
and Peewee knows this well. If he tries to sneak up to
the kennels when he's not supposed to, she will let
him know right quick that he's misbehaving!
Mama Tasha, right, with her
puppies, born on November

son, with a young

help take care of the
dogs and play with them!

Siberians are VERY social animals.
As pack-oriented creatures, they
will view YOU as part of their pack
and love to be included in
everything you do. This includes
going for rides!

Note their matching smiles!

XENA GOES TO SCHOOL! In
March, 2007, Stacey took Xena to
the kids' school to talk about
Huskies and their amazing
contributions to humankind. From
the pre-school through the 4th and
5th grades, the kids loved learning
about the dogs and their history and
visiting with Xena, the ambassador
Husky of the day! Below right, Xena
looks for her chair at the table!
Above right, Xena relaxes in Stacey's
lap while Hannah holds a toy out to
her during the K-4 presentation.

Below, Cheyenne, hamming it
up for the camera! She is very
photogenic, isn't she?
Right, Lulu showing off her pretty
face. She's the daughter of
Scarlett and Prancer, born here
at Happy Trails in February,
2007.
Below--Maia, smiling for the
camera!
Right--J.P. with Skyy, our piebald Husky. You
can see her beautiful eyes here but not her
pretty markings.
Above, Miley, born to Tasha and Prancer in May of 2007.
She belongs to Rebekah, and she was named after...you
guessed it, Miley Cyrus of Hannah Montana fame! She
started out red like daddy Prancer, as you can see in the
photo on the right, but she has turned grey like mama
Tasha. She also has her mother's pretty blue eyes and
markings.
Above --Mojo, born to Skyy and Dougal
of Happy Trails and staying with us. He
is a piebald like his mama, but his
spots are red whereas hers are black!
Also, he has green eyes. He's quite a
handsome young man!
Below Left--Skyy with her boy, Mojo
being lazy dogs!
Patty recently added
Demon, left, and
Jade, right, to Happy
Trails. Demon thinks
that Jade is his very
own personal puppy!
Demon is 7 months
old in this photo.
Right--A boy and his dog! Mojo
with J.P. To the far left of the
photo, you might see a little
black and white blob. That
would be Wiggles, the intrepid
Shih Tzu who thinks that he is
a Husky!
Above and Below, Mudbud. He was born
here at Happy Trails to Cheyenne and
Prancer and is staying with us. He's a dark
red and white with his daddy's green eyes!
Above and Below--Kaya, born at
Happy Trails to Maya and
Prancer. Below, she is getting a
kiss from her daddy, Prancer.
She is pretty girl with her
mama's sweet personality.
Kachina, left and right (her
